We, the Full Spectrum Health community, all want vitality, great sleep, excellent digestion, freedom from pain and a sharp brain! We want to stay younger longer and avoid the disability zone completely, if possible. The good news is -- we can do a lot to influence our own outcomes! Every choice we make either promotes health or contributes to the development of dis-ease.

Our lifestyle choices today build the cells we have tomorrow!

Give daily what your body needs for all systems to function properly
Take away and flush out the toxins

If you need help knowing what goals to set and how to reach them, figuring out what nutrients you need and how much, sourcing healthy food, changing your habits, balancing your blood sugar, appeasing your gut, getting quality sleep, or meeting another health goal, we have a new team member to introduce to you. Scroll down to read about Kati Winter, a Functional Medicine Consultant and Health Coach we have known since Eve worked with her in 2014.

Now, for today’s important reminder!
As Eve always said, ‘We live in a dirty world!’

Toxins are inescapable! They are in the air we breathe, the grass we walk on, the water we shower in, the cars we drive, the containers we use, the textiles we sit on, the cleaning products we use, the drugs we take, the personal care products we use and more.
Toxins…

  • disrupt our mitochondria
  • interrupt our healthy cell signaling and influence our gene expression
  • reduce our ability to clear toxins from our system as they accumulate
  • deplete our energy, dim our light, and make us feel sluggish
  • are increasingly correlated with chronic health problems

Our bodies are designed to remove toxins!
Many nutrients are required in the process!

Nutrients regulate all the chemical processes in the body, including removing toxins. For each molecule of a toxin to be changed from fat soluble to water soluble and excreted, it must undergo a two-phase process requiring the nutrients below:

  • Phase 1: Vitamins B2, B3, B6, B12, Folic Acid, Glutathione, Flavonoids
  • Phase 2: Methionine, Cysteine, Magnesium, Glutathione, Vitamin B5, B12, Vitamin C, Glycine, Taurine, Glutamine, Folic Acid, Choline

We use ‘food as medicine’ first, and then add supplements. These are the formulas we rely on to reduce our toxic load daily, along with our high potency multi-vitamin and plenty of clean water.

OptiCleanse GHI
A delicious, comprehensive vegan protein shake with targeted support to enhance detoxification, reduce inflammation, and boost gastro and liver health.

Liver Protect

NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine)
An essential antioxidant that helps replenish intracellular glutathione, supports liver health, and aids in detoxification processes.

Cytokine Balance
Offers broad-spectrum antioxidant and detox support, featuring glucoraphanin, green tea extract,  turmeric and resveratin to modulate inflammation and support immune balance.

OncoPLEX with Myrosinase
A concentrated source of glucoraphanin (broccoli seed extract), activated by myrosinase for optimal bioavailability. Supports cellular defense, detoxification, and antioxidant activity.

We use different ones at different times for different reasons, and we are here to talk about it. If you are interested or have questions, call or email us. The product name with take you directly to the product information sheet when clicked.

Exercise is another awesome way to support our ability to get rid of toxins – in a chair, in a pool, anyway and anywhere you can. Break a sweat!

  • When you speed up your blood circulation aerobically–your sweat helps flush toxins through your pores.
  • Exercise and movement pump your lymph fluid, which removes toxins and other harmful materials.
  • When you take in more oxygen all your cells function better, including removing toxins.
  • Regular exercise reduces the amount of fatty tissue in the body, thus releasing the toxins stored in the fat cells.

EWG.org is a great resource for household and personal care products.

Every day, every move, every bite, every purchase
is a chance to live cleaner and feel better

Eve called it 'MARKETING MADNESS.'

3/21/2025

She said, “We market madness in this country, we market the fact that you don't have to get your life right, you just have to take a pill and then you can tolerate it all.”

In July of 2015, Eve had just returned from the Detox Summit in NYC where she had, "the great and good fortune to share the podium for 4 MD’s.” She eagerly shared the gist of the SUMMIT with us on her next “No Nonsense Nutrition” radio show.

Before we listen to the show, and I hope you do! I want to remind you of two important points.

  • Medication is used to manage symptoms, not to make you well. If you don’t believe me, read your drug insert. Medication can and does save lives and extend lives. It is also the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. Medication does not replace our responsibility to learn to care for ourselves.

  • We cause most of the inflammation in our bodies by our lifestyle choices. Making healthy changes in how we eat, sleep, move, hydrate and recreate can always improve the condition of our health, at any age!

Happy March and Happy Birthday Eve!

Let’s stay healthy together!!! ❤️

A Happy Heart is a Healthy Heart

The Cholesterol Myth
✅ Cholesterol is essential—it's the most abundant biochemical in the brain, supporting synaptic function and hormone production.
✅ Dietary cholesterol has no direct impact on blood cholesterol levels.
✅ Sugar and refined carbs (not meat or eggs!) are the real culprits behind high cholesterol.
✅ Studies show that low cholesterol is actually linked to higher mortality rates.
✅ Countries with low cholesterol levels, like Australian Aborigines, experience significantly higher heart disease rates than those with higher cholesterol, like Switzerland.

What really causes Heart Disease?
Inflammation is the true driver of atherosclerosis, not cholesterol. When LDL (low-density lipoprotein) oxidizes, it becomes rancid and starts the plaque-building process in arteries.

What your Heart needs to function well:
✨ Maxxum 4 or ActivNutrients – Provides the building blocks of the body!
✨ Omega MonoPure 650 or 1300 – Anti-inflammatory and Anti-blood clotting actions
✨ CoQMax – Supports heart energy production (a must if you're on statins!)
✨ Optimag 125 – Helps regulate heart rhythms and relax blood vessels

Instead of fearing cholesterol, focus on reducing inflammation and nourishing your body with the right foods, movement, and supplements!

What Eve had to say:

The Protein Priority: Why You Need More as You Age

12/6/2024

Out of all of these bundles, we know that just about everyone could use more protein.

Did you know that your body's ability to use protein to build and maintain muscle diminishes as you age? This natural process highlights the importance of ensuring you’re getting enough protein in your diet. Researchers suggest that older adults should aim for 1 to 1.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight daily to maintain optimal health and functionality.

Protein is a vital nutrient with roles that extend far beyond muscle building. Here are just a few of its critical functions:
  • Building Muscle Mass: Essential for maintaining strength and mobility.
  • Repairing Tissues and Cells: Supports recovery from injuries and daily wear and tear.
  • Fighting Infection: Plays a key role in immune system function.
  • Driving Metabolic Reactions: Fuels the chemical processes that keep your body running.
  • Making Hormones: Crucial for regulating everything from mood to metabolism.
  • Providing Structure: Forms the scaffolding for tissues like skin, hair, and nails.
  • Balancing Fluids and pH: Helps keep your body’s environment stable and healthy.
  • Transporting Nutrients: Ensures essential vitamins and minerals reach where they’re needed most.
